Terms of Service
Effective: August 7, 2026
1. Purpose
These Terms set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the operator of jdi (the “Service”) and its users.
2. Definitions
- Service — the drawing-based item placement, quantity take-off, and collaboration tools provided at jdi.life.
- User — a person who agrees to these Terms, creates an account, and uses the Service.
- Content — drawings, projects, item data, and other material a user uploads to or creates in the Service.
3. Posting and Amendment of These Terms
These Terms are posted within the Service. We may amend them within the limits of applicable law. When we do, we will state the effective date and the reason, and post notice at least 7 days before the change takes effect.
4. Accounts
- You may create an account by signing up with an email address or by using social login (Google, Kakao, Naver, LINE).
- If you use social login, you agree that we receive the minimum information needed to verify your identity from that provider in order to create your account or link it to an existing one.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. If you become aware of unauthorized use of your account, notify us immediately.
5. Provision and Modification of the Service
- We aim to provide the Service without interruption, but it may be suspended temporarily for maintenance, technical failures, or events beyond our control.
- The Service may change over time. Changes that materially affect users will be announced in advance.
6. User Obligations
You must not:
- impersonate others or infringe the rights of others;
- interfere with the normal operation of the Service (for example, unauthorized automated access or generating excessive load);
- upload content that violates the law or public order and morals;
- resell the Service commercially without prior consent from the operator.
7. Rights in Content
- You retain all rights to the Content you upload to or create in the Service.
- We process your Content only as needed to provide, maintain, and back up the Service, and claim no ownership of it.
- We do not disclose your Content to third parties except at your explicit request or where required by law.
8. Restrictions and Termination
- You may close your account at any time. When you do, we process your account and related personal information without delay.
- If you breach these Terms or applicable law, we may restrict your use or terminate your account after notifying you (or, in urgent cases, promptly afterwards).
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- We are not liable for service interruptions caused by natural disasters, force majeure, or reasons attributable to the user.
- We are not responsible for the accuracy or legality of Content that users post or store in the Service.
- Where our liability is established, it may be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- We recommend keeping your own copies of important data.
10. Personal Information
The handling of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes arising from use of the Service shall be brought before the court determined under applicable procedural law.
